Its been a hectic year so far with plenty of shoots but nothing I can really share yet as it is all still yet to be released. But hopefully most of it will be released over the next month or so.
In the meantime here is some 4wd imagery I put together for fun from a quick trip up the Godley Valley in New Zealand
It has been a busy start to the year and most of the stuff I have shot is under embargo until the projects all get released over the next couple of months.. But I have cobbled together some offcuts that didn’t make it, and stitched them into a mega gallery below. Enjoy.
Just the usual end of year panic as it gets super hectic – but managed to fit in a few little missions here and there with some 4wding on the coast in the Troopy to some mini bike adventures.. Check out a couple of the galleries below:
First up some from a 4wd trip to Napoleon Hill on the coast.
Second gallery some miscellaneous shots from one of my favourite tracks in Vic park
And lastly a mix of Porters Flow track and Craigieburn
And last but not least just a little test of the new GoPro hero 10 with the max mod attached down my go to track a the Christchurch Adventure Park
The last couple of weeks have been some serious bonus skiing here in NZ – after a bit of lockdown in mid-winter that saw us miss out on what was probably the storm of the year, we have had some unreal late season spring storms that have delivered some decent pow days. Getting in some good resort skiing plus some more adventurous missions. Ive broken it down into days below, so check out the galleries.
Number 2 An absolute cracker of a day out the back of Mt Hutt
Number 3 A day at the playground of the gods – Mt Olympus
And last but not least a rad little trip up to Mt Potts the old Erewhon Ski field – assisted by some ebikes and motos to make the climb up the gravel road easier..
After a bit of COVID lockdown in NZ, unfortunately timed just before the storm of the season, we got some freedom back and headed to try catch the last of the snow – but happy to say spring is just continuing to deliver this year. Gallery below for some of the action over the last 2 weeks. Got a bit to fizzed on the mountains and didn’t stop to take too many photos!
Story of my life but I have been a bit slack on posting some updates but as usual the day job has been getting in the way of fun! We have finally got some snow down here in the southern hemisphere, after a very low tide July.. Here are a couple of snaps from a day out at Mt Olympus.
And here is a little article on the new Canyon Spectral written by Simon Makker of Makkreative that was in the latest Spoke Magazine that features a couple of my photos – the ones of Makker riding the bike.
I forget over summer just how windy it is in Canterbury, and man has it been awesomely calm lately, which means the riding has been sensational. Here is some imagery of the last little while, mostly from some alpine hike a bike missions.
